About the Author

Dr. Ray Zepp has been teaching mathematics and working with NGOs in developing countries since 1977. He spent 12 years teaching in Africa (Nigeria, Lesotho, Ivory Coast, Mozambique, Uganda), and other countries such as Haiti, Micronesia, Papua New Guinea, Macau, Cyprus, and Qatar. He has travelled widely, observing local customs, languages, and geography, and has published widely in research journals as well as the popular media. He has spent 13 years in Cambodia since 1995, and most recently founded Dewey International University in Battambang.
